True Foundation Hockey - Scott Bond Hockey Journey EP49

My next guest on the show is Scott Bond from True Foundation Hockey. This Minnesota native played his high school hockey at Frank B. Kellogg and then moved on to juniors, where he was on his way to a promising career, but his life changed in a moment. Mr. Bond suffered a severe spinal injury that almost ended his dream to play college hockey, but through faith, determination and a belief in himself that anything is possible, 2 years after the injury he returned to the ice and played 4 full seasons at Hamline University, graduating with a Counseling Psychology, Physical Education/Exercise Science degree, with minors in Health and Coaching Philosophy. After retiring from playing, Scott has worn many hats including head hockey coach, director, WHL Scout, strength and conditioning coach, on-ice skills instructor and is a disciple of pioneering skating coach Jack Blatherwick, and also is the Founder, President and Coach in Chief for True Foundation Hockey. Another journey from someone who is heavy in determination, perseverance, faith and grit. I know you're going to love this interview and the pillars Coach Scott stands for.
