Taylor Williamson - Perseverance - Hockey Journey EP32

Taylor Williamson is my next guest and she's had a hockey journey. This Edina Minnesota native was pretty good at hockey. Here's a list of some of her accomplishments. In high school, she played 87 games over the course of 4 seasons, recording 98 goals, 71 assists for 169 points. Was the Hornets captain her senior year where she also won Ms. Hockey, which is awarded to the best female high school hockey player in the state of Minnesota, and won a silver medal at the 2014 U-18 Women's World Championship in Budapest, Hungary. She ended up playing college hockey for her hometown Minnesota Gophers, winning a National Championship her freshman year. But at the conclusion of her sophomore season, Taylor's world got turned upside down, as she had to undergo emergency brain surgery. This is a hockey journey filled with successes, obstacles, perseverance, faith, and a lot of grit!! Enjoy the conversation :) For more information on Taylor's hockey career and story, please click on the links below - https://www.espn.com/espnw/sports/story/_/id/26242761/minnesota-forward-taylor-williamson-blessed-just-the-ice https://gophersports.com/sports/womens-ice-hockey/roster/taylor-williamson/15851
