Jackie Pieper Hockey Journey EP131

Today I'm excited to hear my next guest, Jackie Pieper's hockey journey. I was introduced to her from a Mom of a player I train, who loves the podcast by the way and said Jackie would be an awesome guest on the show, so here we are. Jackie Pieper made it to the top of the mountain, having the dream to one day play college hockey, and I want to know how she did it!! We'll start at the beginning and go back to where this young hockey hopeful was guided early on by a Mother who had a passion for the sport and passed that love on to her kids. However, like every hockey journey, there are some dark and challenging times and this was something the whole Pieper family would have to collectively go through and band together as one unit, as one of their team members, Duke, her older brother, at the age of 15, was told he had a 5% chance to live. Jackie Pieper's contributions to the sport of hockey didn't end once she hung up the competitive skate for good. She's been guiding the next generation of hockey greats, coaching at various levels over the years and currently doing private small group on-ice skills training most mornings before she heads to her other passion, and that's helping others again, as a speech pathologist. If you're ready to get inspired, wel, grab your water, cup of tea or coffee, and let's settle into a story that is sure to pull on the heart strings a little bit. Here we go :) For more information on Jackie Pieper and her and her families hockey journey, click on the links below - https://merrimackathletics.com/sports/womens-ice-hockey/roster/jackie-pieper/3391 https://gophersports.com/sports/womens-ice-hockey/roster/jackie-pieper/15843 The Pieper Hope and Courage Foundation Inc. http://pieperfoundation.org/ For more information regarding Coach Lance Pitlick Online Hockey Training Largest Online Data-Base Off-Ice Stickhandling, Passing and Shooting Drills https://www.onlinehockeytraining.com/ In-person lessons with Coach Lance https://www.sweethockeycoach.com/
